Having trouble with downloading and installing software – Can anyone help?

Hello,

I am getting an error when I try to download software from the Internet like a flash player upgrade and try to install it.
 
Here is the error.
 
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on the last disk(s) of this archive. Zipinfo: cannot find zipfile directory in one of /tmp/FlashPlayerSetup.exe or /tmp/FlashPlayerSetup.exe.zip, and cannot find /tmp/FlashPlayerSetup.exe.ZIP, period.
 
Is there any way to fix this error?

Good Day Sherry,

Your issue here involves software matters, as I understand you cannot install an upgrade to your flash player and others, as for me my first impression to this is, I will check if I have some viruses in my computer, so better check it by using reliable anti-virus software, check also your registry if there some malicious entries there.

After you have cleared the mentioned issues above, try to remove the previous version of the software that you would kike to upgrade, it is better to have a fresh installation after you experienced some issues, and check also the file that you downloaded is working accordingly.

I hope in one way or another this gives you some help.
