Has anyone else had problems with the internet

Hi everyone ,

I have two LG Ally in which first one making problem by freezing and sending text messages randomly to people. After receive email alerts and few songs on Pandora I couldn’t connect Internet. I don’t know what to do, any idea? Thanks

LG Ally uses wireless connection and is either Verizon as the Internet Service Provider of someone else.

This LG Ally is a smartphone that is designed to be affordable and reliable when sending email, pictures of plain text.

Check with your Internet Service Provider and ask if the Internet is down in your area. You may need to do simple troubleshooting steps of the devices you have at home. Modem, router or network SSID plus encryption code such as WEP/WPA key. You need these information for you to re-connect to the wireless connection using your LG ally smartphones.

If you are in a hotspot zone, check with your wireless hotspot provider and re-authenticate to their network to gain your Internet access back. Some hotspot has limitation up to 20 minutes in time of usage then it'll disconnect you off from the network when exceeded.

Go and access the Wi-Fi settings
Navigate Wireless @ Networks
Select Wi-Fi Settings
Choose among the list of wireless network detected
Add a network if necessary
Select and connect to the wireless network
Enter the network key and click connect

However, you need to make sure that the Wi-Fi is turn on. Tick the box on Wireless and Networks menu to activate wireless.

You might have problem in your Internet service provider. You service provider might not allowing of sending text messages randomly and your might be detected as spamming. It is better to check on LG Ally if you have violated their terms of agreement. This might be the reason why after receiving an email alerts and a few songs you will where blocked.

If you haven’t encountered problems when sending text messages by sending text messages with at least 30 seconds or 1 minute interval (just give a try), and you where not blocked, it means that you are detected as spamming.
