I am having Avast on my desktop and I tried to adjust file system shield settings >auto sandbox to do Avast system restriction. But I could not proceed thereafter. Can anyone tell me further steps to achieve Avast system restriction?

Hello Lorin,
The default restrictions are created if the Avast application that you are using if from a trusted source, and you start it for the first time on your computer. All you need to do is the following:

First, you will need to launch the appropriate software application.

After that you will need to invoke a network or Internet connection through the user interface of the application, and after that close the application.

And then right-click the avast! System tray icon and then choose 'Open avast! user interface' from the menu.

Go to the left pane and then click the 'FIREWALL' tab.

From the unfolded submenu you will need to choose 'Application Rules'.

There, you will see a list of software applications as well as their individual access restrictions. Just click on any group to unfold the list of all applicable rules assigned to that group. You can get more details here.
