GPS Memory – Adventurer 2800

Hi,

Does anyone know, what to do when the computer does not recognize the GPS Memory – Adventurer 2800 (the software is already in the computer): I plug the USB port on, but nothing happens and I can not download on my new GPS maps.
Is it a computer problem (Windows 7) or device driver missing?

GPS Memory – Adventurer 2800

Dear Andy,

If your computer not recognizes the GPS memory adventurer 2800 then might be problem in your USB port or USB connecting cable. Try to connect your GPS into another USB port or try to change your USB cable. If problem exist then its mean problem there is a problem in your software or device driver.

You should go to This Link  And download an upgraded device driver of this device but it’s a trail version, If upgraded software working then you should purchase a full version of that software / device driver.

• Second solution, you should uninstall your software and then reinstall it.

GPS Memory – Adventurer 2800

Try it on another computer or another OS and see is it working with it or not in case it is not working then check your GPS Memory and make sure it is working properly. But in case when you connect your GPS Memory to your system and it ask for drivers then there is no problem in your USB port but there is a problem in your drivers.

So you need to solve them to solve the problem of drivers right click on my computer and then go to device manager from there i hope you know where it is located now check that your device is listed there and in properties check that is it showing that your device is working properly or it is showing another message of error then you can check what kind of error it is and how to solve this error.

But if it is not showing any error then it mean that your drive is ready to use and there is no problem in your device drivers now check the software and make sure it is up to date and functional. After checking them all you will be able to solve your problem.
