I found this fix for Windows seven elsewhere and this worked for me.
1. Press Start – Run – On the search button type "regedit" and then press enter.
2. Notice the subsequent reg key:
For Vista: The worth or value of 'ImageState' in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\State
For XP: the worth or value of 'AuditInProgress' in HKLM\System\Setup
For Windows 7: the worth or value of 'ImageState' in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\State
2. Right click the Reg key and select Modify.
4. Delete the value that's inside then press OK. Don't be afraid as value will be just revert back to "BLANK",
