Galaxy Tab 2 not displaying properly

Hi there,

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 which started flickering after continued use, now it won't display anything, just a grey screen, message sounds and vibration are working normally, what could be the problem? How can I get my Tab to display? I did not drop it.

Galaxy Tab 2 not displaying properly

There are few options available and I am assuming that you are using Android OS. Screen flickering problem normally happens when the brightness set to lower side. From the settings tab go inside display option and increase the brightness at least to 50%. Also, try increasing the screen timeout to minimum 30 seconds from display section under settings. If the problem continues to persist, take back-up of all your work and applications in the memory card and then perform a factory reset from settings.

Even after factory setting restore the LCD/LED screen flickers you need to get in touch with service centre. If your phone covered under warranty that is the best option to approach for.
