Hello!

This device keeps on disconnecting from the computer while scanning a document. Nothing's wrong with the rest of the ports and connectors, just provide me answer how to resolve this issue. Also, please tell me if there's anyway that we can use this to multiple computers at a time? Give me additional information on what are the features that this scanner stand out from any other scanner. Is there any software that we can download and use to scan images that can enhance its capabilities?

If you have a scanner that keeps on disconnecting while doing the scanning, try transferring the connection to another USB port. See if this works. A standard CPU includes four USB ports (4) by default plus one or more ports in the front panel if you have this on your computer. Try using all USB ports as possible to see which port will the scanner work.

If this doesn’t work, try to uninstall and reinstall the scanner software. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select your scanner software among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click to restart later.

When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller then restart your computer. After booting, install your scanner software back then see if it works. Also, try downloading the latest version of the software from the Fujitsu website.

Go to Fujitsu fi Series Software Downloads to download the driver. Here, select “fi-7000 Series” in “Step 1”. In “Step 2”, select “fi-7160 / fi-7260” then select your correct operating system in “Step 3”. Finally, click “Display software list” to display all available download for your platform. Download all applicable software for your scanner then see if it works.
