FTP Filezilla Error: Can’t Open Data Connection

I am uploading image content in my blog using my FTP FileZilla client. It was very helpful since the transferring process is fast and you can upload pictures in bulk. But when I logged out and then tried to logged in the other day, I was able to log in my FileZilla but an error message "Can't open data connection” appears. Then an error message Failed to retrieve directory listing also appears. After that, my connection was closed by the server.

I use my FileZilla on my customized website generated through custom-made CMS. What can I do to prevent this error?

FTP Filezilla Error: Can’t Open Data Connection

Hi friend,

I think your network configure was lost or damage for some reason. That’s why you can not connect with your database through Filezilla. FTP FileZilla client needs TCP/IP configuration for run perfectly. It also needs other network configuration. One of damaged configuration can create this kind of problem. in order to solve this you will find help from network configuration guide.

Other reason is may be your router or firewall is damaged. If your router is damaged or too old for work perfectly then you can through that away. If your firewall is creating problem then stop firewall at the time of connecting internet.
