Frozen Applications in iPhone 3GS – keyboard disabled

I have an iPhone 3GS which has a certain Emoticons application. The problem is that the application is frozen and I haven’t figured out a way to get back the usual keyboard in order to send a few messages. The situation is worse for I am unable to type anything at all and also uninstalling the application is a problem. Please help.

Hi Jessica,

You may want to turn off your iPhone 3GS first. If after that, the application is still not usable then most likely you need to delete and redownload the application again. If it is a free software, you can just download it with no problem. If it’s a software that you have purchased, it can be easily downloaded as soon as you login to your iTunes account.

To delete the application, you just need to press the icon for a few seconds. The icons will then shake and display an x mark on it. You just click on the x mark of the application you would want to delete. It would be best to restart your iphone after deleting it before downloading it again.
