Activating errors on iPhone 4s and iTunes synchronization troubles

Can anyone help me out on this? I currently have a new iPhone 4s from AT&T and I am having difficulties activating it. When I had it synchronized with iTunes and went ahead to activate it I got an error message stating “the phone could not be activated please try again later”. I don’t really know what is causing this error for I am sure that I followed all the proper procedures. Trying to activate it from the phone also just happened to be a waste of time.

Activating errors on iPhone 4s and iTunes synchronization troubles

Hi Carla,

The hundreds of numbers of users trying to activate an iPhone 4s cause this error on the Network. It jams the activation server and causes for other users to get the error message. This issue is actually widespread within the USA. You may try a few things to have your phone activated.

·         Call your AT&T’s customer service and have them manually activate it for you.

·         You can visit the online activation site of AT&T https://www.att.com/checkmyorder/activations/ have it activated through the web.

·         Email AT&T’s customer service and have direct activation.

·         Wait and try to activate again on a latter time.
