Airplane mode in phone cause trouble in configuring updates

I have a new phone that I am yet to master all its features. Recently I activated airplane mode and as a result, I am now unable to configure my update and unable to access a wide range of services for instance, connect to the Wi-Fi, iTunes or even make a call a few friends. I thought restarting the phone would solve this issue but nothing really changed. I am now seeking your help which will enable me to restore a normal profile. Thanks.

Airplane mode in phone cause trouble in configuring updates

Hi Genelyn,

Airplane mode is a setup mode in iPhone for you to be able to use the device when you are flying on a plane. It disable all communication possibilities and will let you use the phone as a video or music player only. As you know, mobile phones can jam airplane communication.

You need to disable the mode once you landed for you to be able to use the communication features again. If you are using an iPhone, you need to go to Settings > Airplane mode > Toggle the slider to off. It should turn off the mode and get signal again from your provider.

Good day. Regarding your phone, just simply change it to other modes you prefer for example "normal" then it will be fixed.

Hello Genelyn,

Airplane Mode will allow you to use your mobile phone safely while you are on an airplane. To answer your question, enabling the airplane mode on your mobile phone will turn the following services off:

• Cellular such as voice and data
• WiFi
• Bluetooth
• GPS
• Location services

But you can still enable your WiFi and Bluetooth even if you are on airplane mode if it is allowed by the aircraft staff and operators. To enable WiFi, just tap on the Settings>WiFi and then turn the WiFi on and then select WiFi network. To enable Bluetooth while on airplane mode, tap on the Settings>General>Bluetooth and then turn it on.

To turn your Airplane Mode on, just tap the Settings and then slide to on the first option. Slide to off the Airplane Mode. So if you want to continue using other services, just turn the Airplane Mode off.
