Free software to join multiple video files

I want to be able to join a couple of video files together without losing quality and make one long video rather than 4 or 5 short ones. Does anyone know of a free software I can use to do this? I have seen a few but it will cost me. I'm only going to do this once so paying is not worth it. Any suggestions?

Free software to join multiple video files

If you have a couple of small video files and you want to join them or stitch them together to make one long video, you can use ImTOO MPEG Encoder Platinum. Follow the instructions to download and unpack and then install it. Once installed, start ImTOO MPEG Encoder Platinum then load the video files you want to combine.

Once the files are loaded, select or highlight all the videos then click “Merge”.

After clicking “Merge”, a new item will appear on the list. Under this item are the videos you selected to be merged. Now, the videos are in different order. Arrange the sequence of the videos by dragging the video either up or down to show which video comes first and which comes next and so on.

When you are finished and ready to merge, uncheck all the videos you loaded except the merge item then click the red button to start merging.
