I cannot do a video conference in normal version of skype. Is there any way I can get the full package of skype for free. If there is, post a link here for me to download.

As I know No one can do video conference for free. Two people video chat is free.

For Three or more you have to subscribe first. Seven days trail is free. You can find subscription charges from below link.

Thanks.

Skype really costs. You can simply opt to browser-based video conferencing offered by websites like Tokbox, tinychat, imo.im. All you need is to sign-up for an account, then give your friends the link and password(you should not forget to put one so that unauthorized people cannot view/join your conference). It's very convenient in a way that it does not require any major software installation, all you need is an updated browser that can support adobe flash. I say, based on my experience, tinychat is a good one. But if your friends/colleagues are on google or gmail, you can invite them to video-chat in  Google Hangout(may require you to install a plugin) which is nice and has a lot of features too.

Happy video-conferencing!

I don’t think users are limited from doing video conference with Skype. If you can’t perform a video conference or group video chat with your current version of Skype, you are probably using an older version. The latest version supports free video conferencing and you can host a video conference or group video chat for up to 25 people including yourself.

First, make sure you are using the latest version. Download the latest Skype for Windows and install it to upgrade any existing version you may have. The latest version at the moment supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10 both 32-bit and 64-bit. For Windows XP, make sure you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 or higher.

For Windows 7, make sure you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 11. It requires 1 GHz or faster processor, 512 MB RAM, and Microsoft DirectX 9.0 or higher. To begin a video conference, start Skype then initiate a video call with one of your friends. Once your video call has started, click on the plus sign “+” then select “Add people to this call.”

Add the rest of the people you want to the video conference.
