Free Open Source Customer Support Tools

Some of the free and open source customer support solutions are Freshdesk, Spiceworks, C-Desk, ngDesk, OTRS free, Bugzilla and Mantis Bug Tracker. The features of few of these tools are 24/7 email support, accessible via mobile applications, server monitoring services, Active directory synchronization, available in many languages, and search auto-suggest. The disadvantages are that configuration is daunting, systems can’t be customized, difficulty in installing Ubuntu on the server; and bigger issues take a longer time to resolve.
