Foxit Reader Failed to properly handle old PDF files

I have a Foxit reader installed in my pc, and I love it much compared to the adobe because of other capabilities it offers. However,there are old PDF files in my file that Foxit cannot handle properly like scrolling the page.

The error says I have to contact the person who created the file, but I am confused because it can be perfectly handled by Adobe Reader.

Please help me what to do because I do not want to encounter the same problem again with  my many old PDF files.

Foxit Reader Failed to properly handle old PDF files

Hello Aldy Quitat.

Why is your screenshot showing Adobe Reader with the error message?  I thought you said Foxit PDF Reader was the one with the error?

Anyways, new PDF readers should ideally have no problem opening older versions of PDF files.  Try these first:

1.  Update your Foxit PDF Reader to the latest.  You can download it from here: Download Link1

2.  Get the free Foxit Reader add-ons and install those. You can download those here: Download Link2

If you still have problems, try another free PDF Reader such as PDF-Xchange Viewer which is also excellent.  You can get this excellent PDF Reader from here: Download Link3.  Personally, I prefer PDF-Xchange Viewer.
