Four Square is an application that lets you check in to places that you visited. Now, regarding the connect or shall i say Link stuff that is offers. It is simply making use of you four-square app as a distribution list. Example, You check in at a certain Casino or restaurant in Las Vegas, You need not to log in to you facebook, twitter, Instagram and check in the same place. the Linking of the account manages itself buy also updating your link account into where are you now. It is important for weather since it will notify the app where you are now and would give you the correct weather forecast and status. In instagram it will just show where those pictures have been taken.
