I do not have much idea about force write protected disk.Can anyone tell me the advantage of using this in real life?

Force write protected disk advantage in real life

Hi,

A write protected disk would, as the name implies, not allow you to delete / remove your data from the disk, thereby restricting the use of the disk to “read only”. Most common practical usage is for the disk is you are distributing your program / content on a disk and you would not want the disk to be used for any other purpose.

There are two methods used to force write protect disks: hardware & software.

Hardware protection is very difficult to break, whereas software protection can usually be broken easily.
