“An error (1416) occurred while saving the action and there is not enough memory to complete the requested action.” This happens after inserting a PDF file into the drawing, and then trying to set it aside. It’s as simple as that. So any help in solving this Visio error 1416?
Thank you for correcting this is often simple:
Add your PDF file as you always do, drag and drop or whatever.
Right-click on the PDF to select it. Note the “Group” menu and select “Ungroup”.
You should be ready to save now.
It sometimes works for me and is often the easiest way to overcome another mistake.
The “software mechanics” behind this workaround is not known to me, but at least it works.
