I am looking for fixes for VMware host not responding error but I have not found anything till now. Please someone help me with this problem as I am unable to find anything related to it.
Fix For VMware Host Not Responding Error
To fix the problem follow the steps below-
- It is mostly caused by host agent service, so to restart it type #service mgmt-vmware restart
- If it doesn’t restart and keeps hanging, open another console and type #ps-ef| grep hostd
- From the processes listed find the one using hostd and kill it using kill command
This will solve the non responding error.
