I am trying to connect my computer with the work domain. But when I try to do it, this ‘event id 4097’ error message pops on screen. How can I solve this problem/error?

To fix the event id 4097 error, first of all, try to restart the Terminal Services Licensing service. Follow these steps to do so-

• Make a backup of the TS Licensing database folder.

• Uninstall the TS Licensing role service.

• Restart your PC.

• Now, reinstall TS Licensing role service.

Now you have to start the Terminal Service Licensing service. Follow these steps to do so-

• Click on Start Window.

• Click on Administrative Tools. Click on services.

• Click on ‘Continue.’

• Right-click on ‘Terminal Services Licencing.

• Now, select ‘Properties.’

• Set ‘Startup Type’ to ‘Automatic.’

• Now, click ‘OK.’

• Right-click on ‘Terminal Services Licensing.’

• Now click on the ‘Start’ option.

• Make sure that the ‘Status’ column for the Terminal Services Licensing service is displaying ‘Started.’

Now you have to install the TS Licensing role services. To do so, follow the steps given below-

• Click on Start Window.

• Go to Administrative Tools and select Server Manager.

• Now, right-click on Roles and click on Add Roles.

• Click ‘Next.’

• Again click ‘Next.’

• Now, select TS Licensing to check the box.

• Click on ‘Next.’

• Now, specify the discovery scope on the Configure Discovery Scope for TS Licensing page.

• Click on ‘Next.’

• Click on ‘Install.’

• Click on close.
