Hi Jaclyn Andree I searched some solution that may help you solve your problem.

That error for now may be corrected in the following hours or days. But these few days may make a difference.

1. If you do not have the latest version of Adobe Flash on this link:

2. You may clear Cache and Cookies of your Mozilla Firefox.

  • Clearing Cache.
  • Open your Mozilla Firefox browser.
  • At the menu bar click on Tools > Options.
  • Go to the Advanced tab.
  • Locate a Cache and click Clear now.
  • Click OK.
  • On Clearing Cookies.
  • Tools > Options.
  • Go to Privacy Tab.
  • Locate Private data.
  • Press Clear now.
  • Click OK.

Hope this information helps.

Jaclyn,

There could be a couple of items that might be blocking YouTube from steaming its video.  You might have ad blocking on your system or your Firewall might be stopping it.  To eliminate ad blocking go under your start menu and then "all programs" and locate your ad-ware or pop-up blocker software and disable it.  Once this is done go into your anti-virus program and under the fire wall make sure "www.youtube.com" is listed as a trusted site.  Once you look into these areas you should be able to watch videos.

Hello Jaclyn,

I think I can help you with some solutions. Have you tried deleting plugin.dat and maybe addons.sqlite in the Firefox profile? This will reset plugins "database" for Firefox.

1. click Help > Troubleshooting Information > to the right of Profile Folder click Show Folder (opens a Windows Explorer/My Computer window to the location of your Firefox Profile)

2. close/exit Firefox and wait a few seconds for Firefox to complete closing

3. delete (or rename) the two files plugin.dat and addons.sqlite

4. restart Firefox and test Flash on the Adobe test link.

This should solve your problem. If not, you can try upgrading your Adobe Flash. You can get your version details here- http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/about/. Or,

1. Uninstall Adobe Flash and install it again. Both player and plugin. To get the newest version of Adobe flash, see- http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/#sp.

2. Reboot your PC. Now you should be able to watch videos.
