Turn on your printer and computer.

Make sure that the printer is ready for network set-up.

On the printer, open wireless network and turn on the wireless signal.

Check that the Ethernet cable is connected properly to the Ethernet port of printer and port of router.


On the computer, click on network icon to see the status and name of the connection.

If VPN is on, disconnect it while installation.


If the network connected is not yours, reconnect to your own.

Make sure that the network signal is strong. You can make it powerful by keeping the computer, printer and router close.  Make sure that the airplane mode is off.

Download and run HP Print and Scan doctor to perform troubleshooting actions.

Install the HP drivers and software.

Go to ‘HP customer support software and driver downloads’.

Select any method to find your printer model.

Follow the onscreen steps to go to the download page.

Click on download (beside full feature driver)

Your printer is enabled and now can be used for printing process.
