I am not able open Lotus Notes 8.5 NSF file which have size around 5.4 GB. I am getting an error message which says that ‘File is damaged’. Can anybody know how to recover the file? Please help. Thanks in advance.
Hi Monica,
You may be getting the error as Lotus notes may be having a hard time opening the file as it is very big. Same as using Microsoft Outlook PST files, usually it is advisable to limit your file size to below 2GB. This is to eliminate any reason for the file to get corrupted.
You may want to use Notes repair application which can assist you on recovering the file.
