File Cannot Be Created in Notes 5.0.8

According to Notes users and tech of lotus notes the OS is the most common reason for this problem. But if you have been using the similar OS on the same version of NOTES for the past years and not giving you any problem kindly follow the steps/methods that I will be providing.

1. Check the location if note set your mailfail to another location. (Go to file then Preferences and then location preferences, now on the mail tab check if it is set to local. Or you can just set it back to its normal location).

2. Another reason is your local replica was corrupted and the files inside your inbox. To solve this issue you just need to make another replica by deleting the old one on your hard drive then make a new one.

3. Another reason is the file is protected or the location is set to private. If this is the case you just to run you Command prompt and type “set” and then you would see if you can access the location or the file. If this didn’t work just reinstall your notes but before doing this make a back up for your inbox.
