Failed to Install AutoCAD 2011 for Mac

I purchased AutoCAD 2011 installation disk for Mac, but I could not able to install it.

I uninstalled with the help from HelpDesk and then re-install it again.

I entered the product key correctly, but it still failed to install. What could be wrong?

Can someone tell me on ways to resolve this problem?

Thanks you in advance.

The installation failed.

The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.

You can use two ways:

1. using default installation or

2. using custom installation.

But first of all check whether you meet the minimum requirements for installation and you need at least 2GB RAM. Now follow the system.

1. Using default installation:

  • Start installation wizard.
  • Select your language and click install at initial page.
  • Select your products and then click next.
  • At review page click I accept > Next.
  • Enter your user information, serial number then click Yes.
  • Click Install > Finish.

2. Using custom installation:

In this method you can custom your installation. Follow these steps:

  • Follow as it is above for first 5 steps.
  • At the license type page select stand alone or Network > Next. You can't change anything after you press Next. So, be careful.
  • Click configure and at installation click custom.
  •  Create shortcut to desktop. Click install> Next
  • Finish

Hope you are done. Good luck
