Facing problems with PowerPoint X on Panther (10.3.1)

I’m using PowerPoint X on Panther (10.3.1)and facing some problems. I get anerror message: "PowerPoint is having problems getting input from the user ()". While trying to Insert>Picture>From File, the standard dialog box appears. After clicking “OK” on the error dialog box nearly 4 times it eventually goes away and things proceed normally. Please, give me a solution.

Facing problems with PowerPoint X on Panther (10.3.1)

If this is the first it happens on your application, try restarting your computer then try it again. Maybe it’s just a fluke and will be restored back to normal after rebooting. But if it still fails and displays different kinds of errors again, try doing a clean installation of the program again to restore it to its default configuration and to remove possible corrupted files in its installation as well. Uninstall Microsoft Office PowerPoint X for Mac then restart your machine if the system asks it. After booting, check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. Install Microsoft Office PowerPoint X for Mac again after the disk check and then test it if it works.

I don’t see any incompatibility issue here because this application works on Mac OS X 10.1 and later versions.
