Export PST Calendar and Import into Exchange 2010

I have a client who likes to transfer 30 user accounts that presently uses Calendar into several Public Folders.

What will I do in order to export the calendar into a PST file from Outlook 2003, and then I could create a Public Folder (Calendar) and provide the necessary permissions to it?

Afterwards, I could import the calendar into this new public folder location.

Any relevant suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated.

In case you need to export data from Outlook, what you will need to do is the following:

  • With outlook opened you will need to click the File tab.
  • And then click on Open.
  • Next click on Import (Even though, you want to export just click on import).
  • That will launch the Import and Export wizard with the Export and Import options.
  • There, you will need to choose Export to a file, and then you will select the data that you want to save.
  • The next step will be to choose where to save and the save the file.
