Error while runs jockey-gtk to configure another driver

Hello,

When I try to run jockey-gtk to configure another driver, an error message appears and it says the program is closed unexpectedly. Attached below is the screenshot of the message for your information.

Could any expert help me to solve this problem?

Hello,

Before trying anything else make sure to run the update manager so your Linux distribution is updated. Second, go to software center and remove jockey-gtk, after removal process is complete install it again. If your problem persists then report a bug on Launchpad.net and they will fix it for you.

Jockey-gtk is a driver management tool which provides GNOME user interface and desktop integration and through which you can configure third-party drivers (such as NVidia and ATI) and various kernel modules.

There are several dependencies for jockey-gtk:

1. jockey-common

2. policykit-1-gnome 

3. python

4. python-notify

5. python-xdg

6. synaptic

Check if all of them are correctly installed and working properly.
