Error when trying out example custom stories in game Amnesia

Hi Gurus,

I was playing Amnesia, and I was trying out example custom stories when I got this error message. I haven’t done any scripting yet or have done any changes so I wondered why this error happened. Any knowledge on this type of problems? Hope you can help me because I want to learn how to make these custom stories. Thanks in advance.

Error when trying out example custom stories in game Amnesia

Hi James,

Sorry to hear that problem. Are you sure that your graphic card driver is updated?  Check your computer device manager. Click start >properties>device manager> and search for  graphics or display adapter.  Look for your model number and then go to Google and search for your manufacturer's website. On your manufacturer's website look for the driver installer and download the one that matches your model number. Another reason why you keep getting that error  is that if you have intel driver. I suggest you to upload a new driver and make sure that is fully different graphic card. I hope it helps.

Error when trying out example custom stories in game Amnesia

Hi,

You just simply check the graphic card diver or the versions is always update and then try to check the Chip type or the approx. total memory to your video card to check that you just simply click the start menu and then go to the search programs and files just simply types this DXDIAG and then after your enter the DirectX Diagnostic tool then click the Display you can see the information about your graphic card driver software and then check if it’s suitable to your machine or to your Amnesia games and then try to check or scan the application of the games if there an infected files or maybe a corrupted data to your Amnesia Application.
