Hi,

I previously had Windows Live Messenger 2011 installed but it was sharing my problems and it wasn't that suitable, I removed it using Revo Uninstaller pro. I think   Windows Smoldering Courier 2009 as 2010 also gives me problems and went to position it but it said ”Couldn't install programs, you already have a more recent version of Windows live" and gave me an error code : 0x80280007. I've ran Glary utilities and Front SystemCare to icon and modify the registry and noneffervescent  it gives me the fault. So how do I fix this difficulty?

Hello there,

The solution to this is kind of simple, but actually it gives a pain in the neck.

First you need to do is go to Add/Remove programs in Start Menu, and remove all the Windows Live Messenger data.
Then what you need to do just installs the version you need.

I remember the problem since I had it too. Another solution is downloading the previous, older version of Windows Live and then upgrading it into the new version. This is a bit harder and consumes more time, but it is a fix worth giving a shot.
