Is anyone familiar with Google Apps Sync? It seems that most of my data isn’t importing at all from my old account. This is my first time to do importing using Google Apps Sync and I am not quite familiar with it. I don’t know what to check and do first.
Please help me out.
Cannot import data to Google Apps Sync
I have read your issue and here are things that you can do to resolve your issue.
Check if your domain administrator had the Email Migration API enabled in the Google Apps Control Panel screen.
Here’s how to check it.
Go to Google Apps control Panel.
Advanced Tools Tab.
Under User email uploads section click that check box for Allow users to upload mail using Email Migration API.
And make sure that the Google Apps Migration software for your email client is installed on your computer.
Ensure that you have internet connectivity while going through the migration process. You should not be experiencing network problems at all while migrating. Import only from a .PST file. It won’t work if you use an .OST file. Or you could import directly from your exchange account.
When doing the migration process you should do it directly using Google Apps Sync and not using the drag and drop methods from IMAP folders. This kind of method is not supported by Google Apps Sync so it could create a problem with the data that you are trying to migrate. If you will be using other methods to migrate then some of the data might not be imported properly. If you did use any other method, what you could do is recreate your profile again and import only using Google Apps Sync.
I hope this solution works for you.
