Error in Validating Vault 2011 to 2012 Migration

Hi.

I am in need of help in my Vault 2012 migration. I tried to migrate from Vault 2011 to 2012 but beforehand I also tried to backup the Vault. I log in as the Administrator and then select the Tools and then Backup. When all the process is done, it starts the validation but when done with it I am now facing an error "Failed to check pending changes from workgroup AUTODESKAUTODESKVAULT. Error a network related or instance specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQLServer. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error : 26-error locating server/Instance Specified)" What is the solution for the issue? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

According to the error you are getting, I think that the SQL server machine name change during the process somewhere.
This can happen when the AUTODESK was run. This can cause the problem for your and for the SQL that you are using because the records that are internally stored still has the old name of the SQL machine attached to them.
