Hi All,

I get an error on startup of my newly installed version of iSpy, the iSpy 3.5.0.0 as shown in the below screenshot. I had no problems while using iSpy 3.4.3.0. But after the upgrade, something must have gone wrong. I thought perhaps the downloaded file was corrupted and tried uninstalling the software and installing it back again. But even after trying to do this many times, the problem still persists. Now I don’t know what changes in my system is causing the problem. I have not installed any new programs apart from this one. Please, can anyone tell me what is wrong? Thanks a lot.

First, try uninstalling all versions of iSpy in case you have different versions installed on your computer. Once all versions are removed, click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and select Disk Cleanup. Select drive C and click OK. Check “Temporary files”, click OK, and wait until it is finished. Restart your computer and install iSpy 3.5.0.0 again.

See if this works. Also, try running the program as administrator which might also help. Right-click on the program’s icon and select Properties. Go to Compatibility tab and check “Run this program as an administrator” and then click OK. Start the program again and see if it helps. I also noticed that you are using an old version of iSpy which is probably the reason why this error is happening.

Download the latest version from iSpy 5.9.5.0. It supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 both x86 and x64. Download the correct version for your operating system. If you are using x86 Microsoft Windows, download the 32-bit version. If you have x64 Microsoft Windows, download the 64-bit version. In case it required you to install Microsoft .NET Framework, download Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile.
