Hi all,

I have got a problem. I have just installed adobe Photoshop in Linux-Debian.

But whenever I want to run this, an error message appears.

The program Photoshop.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

This can be caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency in Wine. You may want to check https://appdb.winehq.org/ for tips about running this application.

If this problem is not present under Windows and has not been reported yet, you can report it at http://tugs.winehq.org.

Close

So, I need some help for this.

Thanks.

The error says that there may be a programming problem for the purpose. The problem is either associated with the software called Photoshop or the software from which it is made compatible to linux. Once you try installing it in WINDOWS, it may create problems if it is with the normal problems with the software problems. Else there may be a compatibility problem which states that the software built is compatible for the type of linux you are using. As there are various versions of Linux and many types of Linux, in the open market they are not 100% compatible in spite of the kernel being same to at least 99%. Try posting in the forums.
