Error occurred while updating Malwarebytes’ Antivirus

I have updated Malwarebytes version 1.45 these days.

The software installed good and I was capable to update the database as well, on the other hand when I attempt now I receive this error below:

 

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

An error has occurred. Please report this error code to our

support team.

MBAM_ERROR_UPDATING (12150, 0, WinHttpQueryHeaders)

                                                           OK

Is it the server error message when recovering a database update?

The software version which I am using is not registered.

Error occurred while updating Malwarebytes’ Antivirus

Hi Rhonda, I am assuming that if should need to register the software first. If this problem still persists, then try to uninstall this and after restarting the PC reinstall again and register. Then try to run the update again. I hope it will work after this. If you used any illegal files then after uninstalling please run cleaner or other Registry cleaner software to clean your registry and then install the software.

Hi Rhonda,

 

It seems that there are some settings that you need to go through on your Malwarebytes software to resolve this issue.

 

• Launch Malwarebytes
• Go to the settings page of MBA and look for the updater settings.
• From Updater settings, you should see three boxes and you need to check all those options.
• Ensure that these settings are correct:

          1) Proxy server:85.25.139.53 

          2) Port:3128
