Hi,
When i try to connect to a wireless network access point which is using share-mode network authentication in windows vista an error message is coming telling that "Windows cannot connect to <access point>". Can anyone help me to fix this?

To solve the “Windows cannot connect to <access point>” error message on Windows Vista, you may try the following:

Click on Start
-
Go to Search
-
Type in Network and Sharing
-
Choose Network and Sharing Center found in the Programs list
-
Type in your administrator password if prompted
-
Click on Continue
-
Choose Manage Wireless Networks
-
Click on Add
-
Click on Manually Create A Network Profile
-
Enter the name of your network on the Network Name box

Click Shared on the Security Type box
-
Select the encryption type under the Encryption List if your network uses encryption

Go to Security Key/Passphrase box and enter your security key

Click on Next
-
Click on Close
