Error message when computer locked

Please help with this.

When i locked my pc following message appears on the screen.

"Delayed Write Failed : Windows was unable to save all the data for the file F:$Mft. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere."

This message does not pop up when i login and work in the pc.

Pc running on windows XP sp3.

Hi Roshanw,

Hope the following steps will guide you in fixing of this issue.

1. It may be the reason that some of the problems can be resulted due to occurrence of an virus infection and once you make sure that you completely removed any of the viruses available on your system.
2. Recommendation is that you better to download and make use of the Malware bytes which can be called as the anti malware program and this is currently said to be as the best anti virus program in the process of identifying and removing any of the viruses.
3. But remind that this program is not for free of cost but you can make use of it for a span of 30 days in which it is more than enough to sort out atleast some of your problems.
4. Also check once the pop up blocker properties whether they set correct or not as its better to enable pop up's for our ease to remind of any errors that are going to occur.
