Hey everyone, I got an error message while trying to test a CD using Nero CD-DVD Speed on my Nero Burning ROM 9. It looks like this:

“Error! CIRC UNRECOVERED ERROR (031106)”

I’m not sure is the error connected to the CD or Nero so please if you have already experienced a problem like this post a comment. I would greatly appreciate it.

Hello Sharon Z,

A pleasant day to you. First, you need to scan the dick using cd speed to be able to see if there's a write error on it. Then test the rip out  first on +RW. Another software that you can use to fix your issue is clonedvd2 . Download and install to be able to create video files on your hard drive.

You can also try to copy the whole DVD or cd into a folder on your HDD in internet explorer or Mozilla Firefox. Note that you should try both drivers because one may be better than another. And then next is burn your CD using Nero again. Please try to use your burner as the destination and source and if it asks, to switch on disk, you have to do it. The disk copy option could handle that.

You have to control your writing speed on prescribe on your compact disk (CD) or Digital video disk (DVD) because it might have been that your Compact disk writer(CDW) or Digital video disk writer(DVD-RW)  had a slower or faster speed. For you to adjust the speed follow these instructions, first is open the Nero application. Will launch.

Then Click the on the "Rip & Burn" option. Right-click on the disk burning option.( if burning a Video disk, right-click on the "Burn Video Disk" option.) Select the burn speed from the dropdown box. Set it on the speed prescribed on the CD or DVD (4x, 8x, etc.) Click "OK."
