Today I have decided to install and play WoW game, but I have met some difficulties. Game installation completed without a problem, but when I try to launch it, the error is shown. After pressing OK button, the game doesn't load. I think it may be due to my computer is too slow for this game?

unable to play the game error message appears

Hello Tracy Johnson,

Errors occur when starting World of Warcraft game for the following reasons:

1. Installation is incomplete:

Solution: Run through the process as indicated to avoid hassles in the long Run.

2. Your computer is too slow or doesn't meet the necessary system requirements.

Solution: Check the link here for the minimum system requirements for both MAC and PC:

3. You have downloaded the pirated version or the old version.

Solution: Keep yourself updated with the latest version, and patches to avoid errors.

And best of all. Buy the original copy.

Hope this will help you a lot.

Hi,

It looks like that there are some errors in your installations. So the first thing you should do is that re-installs World of Warcraft. Even if that doesn't help then make sure that your graphic card drivers and Direct X is up to date and your system meets the minimum game requirements. I hope you find the solution.

If you installed “World of Warcraft” but it doesn’t start and gives you that error instead, check the system requirements again and make sure your computer meets those requirements. World of Warcraft supports 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10.

World of Warcraft
World of Warcraft

It requires Intel Core i5-760 or equivalent AMD FX-8100 or faster processor; 4 GB RAM; NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560, AMD Radeon HD 7850, Intel HD Graphics 530, or better video card with 2 GB video RAM; 70 GB free space; 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution; mouse and keyboard; and broadband internet connection.

If you verify that everything is fine, try disabling your antivirus or firewall temporarily before starting the game. If this doesn’t work, try running the program as admin. Right-click the game launcher then select “Run as administrator”. If this works, set the client to always run as administrator. Right-click the game launcher and select “Properties”. On the “Properties” window, go to “Compatibility” tab.

Under “Privilege Level” section at the bottom, check “Run this program as an administrator” then click “OK”.
