I need to install Virtual PC 2007 but I was unable to continue because of the error below. The installation doesn’t have permission because of the error below. What could be the reason for this? Please send me some help.

The installation of C:DOCUME~1UserLOCALS~1TempVirtual_PC_2007_Install.msi is not permitted due to an error in software restriction policy processing. The object cannot be trusted.

Hi Nelson,
IÂ want to ask about your are the power user or administrator?
If you are the administrator user on that pc and still you have an error like that, just go to Group Policy and disable or Not configure the Prohibit the user to Install.
These are the step on how to access the Group Policy
1. Start>Run>type gpedit > Click OK
2. In Group Policy under Computer Configuration>Administrative Templates>Windows Components>Windows installer>Prohibit user to Installs.
Just click Prohibit user to installs and make it Disable or Not configure.

Error in installing Virtual PC 2007
I think this is a different version or brand of Virtual PC 2007 from Microsoft Virtual PC 2007.
But if this is the same application, maybe you downloaded the installer from a different website rather than from Microsoft itself.
It is possible that this is the reason why you cannot install the application in your computer because it has a different software certificate that violates the software restriction policy.
It is possible that some parts of the software was edited and doesn’t match what was expected by the operating system.
If you really need to use Virtual PC 2007, you can download and install Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 at http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=4580.
You can select between the 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
