Hi Experts,

On Ubuntu dapper drake I faced a problem while trying rb 2006 r2. While hitting on the run or built button I received an error message every time. It indicates that “An error has occurred while compiling this project”. It happened so for all of my projects.

Anyone having idea about this error message please help me.

An error has occurred while compiling this project

 

Hi,

Try the following steps:

1. The error message says that the method or property does not exist. So check the code and make sure you typed the same method name and property. The name of the file should be same as the class name. It should be different from the method name. So check these names and try again.

2. Check the folders where the files are stored by default. If you changed the location where the files are saved then make sure you change it back to the default location.

3. If the above steps do not solve your problem then reinstall it on your computer.
