Uninstall your flv file then again install it. Then try to edit again if your problem is solved then that's good. But if you still getting the same problem then, first deactivate that squeeze. For deactivating that squeeze follow these steps, go to help and click on deactivate squeeze. Because i feel that, this problem is coming due to this.
Then again you should have to uninstall that file, By going to windows task manager, click on control panel, click on add/remove programs. Uninstall your file from there. After installing it again try to edit the items which you wants to edit. Your problem will be no more.Â
That error can be caused by anything. It can be a problem with the video editor or maybe with the FLV video itself. Sometimes if a video is damaged or partly damaged, you can still do a playback of the video until the end but you cannot adjust the slider because it will cause the video to abruptly end.
Also, if a video is damaged and it is playable on any media player, converting it or loading it on a video editor will give you only part of the video that is undamaged and will not load the part that is damaged giving you an incomplete video. Also, make sure the computer is fully compatible with the program.
For users with the latest version, Squeeze 11, it supports Windows 8 and Windows 10 only. Microsoft Windows 7 and earlier are not officially supported. It requires at least 1 GHz or faster processor with SSE2, PAE, and NX support, 2 GB RAM, 200 MB free hard drive space, QuickTime 7.2 and up, and Microsoft DirectX 9.0b and higher.
If you want to load an FLV file, make sure the format is supported. Squeeze video editor supports flash videos in Sorenson Spark and On2 VP6 formats only. If you have a problem loading a flash video (.flv), try converting it first to another supported format like AVI or WMV.
The following are the supported video input file formats: 3GP, Apple ProRes, Apple Intermediate Codec (Mac only), ASF (Windows only), AVCHD, AVI, DV, DVCPRO, Flash Video (On2 VP6 and Sorenson Spark), HDV, Motion JPEG, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 Part 2, MPEG-4 Part 10 AVC (H.264), MPEG Program Streams, MPEG Transport Streams, MXF (XDCAM), QuickTime (MOV), WMV, and DVD (unencrypted – NEW in Squeeze 8).
If you also have problems loading other file formats, try reinstalling Squeeze 4.
