Error Connecting to ISP Occurred

In our city DSL is not available and I am using a modem when I try to connect it with internet then given error appear and some time modem connected with internet but after some time it again disconnect and give error appear again.

Tell me its proper solution.

Hi Eewlespery,

• Error Connecting to ISP Opening port…  Error 633: The modem [or other connecting device] is already in use or is not configured properly.

Analyze your error message. It saying that “the modem was already in use” so I suggest check your status. Go to “Start menu” click “Control Panel” and find the “Network and Sharing Center”. Check if you do have already a internet connection if you have, you don’t have to make it another one. But if you want to change your internet connection disconnect it first or unable it. Then make internet connection that same with what you have. It helps. Thanks,

Error Connecting to ISP Occurred

Hi Eewlespery

     According to you, your problem is all about your internet connection and you need to connect your modem to your ISP. I suppose that you are using LAN, well it is expected for the LAN to face this error if it is not properly installed or because your LAN is not working. Here are the steps that you can follow to check your LAN:

1. Go to the "START" button.
2. Right Click your "COMPUTER" or "MY COMPUTER" option.
3. In the drop down menu, you can see "MANAGE", then click that
4. Look for the "DEVICE MANAGER", then click it
5. Click the "DRIVER"
6. If you can see a yellow icon beside the image, it means your LAN is not working, you need to download a new driver for your LAN. 

How to Download your LAN drive?

1. Search in the Yahoo or Google the model of your laptop, you can see that model, in the stickers that was place in your laptop.
2. Search for the LAN drive, then download it.
3. After downloading, install it in your computer, then recheck your LAN if the yellow icon is still there.
