I wanted to copy Adobe Photoshop CS4 from my computer to my Laptop. So I copied the whole folder of Photoshop from the Programs folder to a flash drive. But when I tried to open the program I got error code 6. Could it be related to some kind of a license issue? Can you please help me to fix this?
Not really, that error is not due to a license issue. You used the wrong procedure to transfer the Adobe Photoshop CS4 application from your computer to the laptop. That is an executable application and therefore you do not just copy it from the programs files and paste it on the laptop. You will need to install it on the laptop for it to work. Get the installation CD that you used to install it on the computer or the setup file in case you did not use a CD to install. Run the setup on the laptop and install it.
After you have successfully installed the Adobe Photoshop CS4 on the laptop, you can then transfer the Photoshop files that you had created to the laptop. They can now be opened using Photoshop.

It is not the way to copy a software. You have to get an .exe of Photoshop so that you can install it in your computer. The reason why it don't work by just copying the installed Photoshop from other computer to your computer is it is not installed in your computer. First is you find the installer of the Photoshop version you want to copy then copy it to your computer. After that install it in your computer. You have to provide a License Code for the software you want to install because most of the Softwares ask for a license key. If you already have finished installing then you can now start using PhotoshopCS. Now, I hope you enjoy using Photoshop as your photo editor. Have a nice day.
