An  “error code 0x800ccc0f” is occurring when I am trying to send and receive an email message in Outlook 2002. Please help me out to detect it and what are the related causes and solutions to get rid of it.

“error Code 0x800ccc0f” While Sending An SMTP Based Email Message

When you try to transmit an email message, you may receive the following “ error number 0x800ccc0f”: Server connection problem can occur if you have an antivirus email protection utility enabled, which checks the emails as it comes from your POP server. To solve this error, disable the antivirus email conservation account as well as the Windows Firewall. To disarm the Windows Firewall, just follow these steps-

1. Open the control panel.
2. Check and open the internet connection.
3. Just Right click on internet connection.
4. From the menu, select properties.
5. Now switch off the firewall on the Security tab.

You will now be able to solve the problem.
