Security of using mozilla seamonkey

Hi!
I would like to inquire about Mozilla SeaMonkey.
Is it good to use as an email program? Are my mails and attachments secure to send? Does it filter messages?
Please send me some advice and how to install it. I'm using Mozilla Browser by the way.

SeaMonkey is an internet suite that is free to use.

As an open-source cross platform, it offers users to have a bundle of internet applications and services under one single attachment, that is, it has one internet browser, email, IRC chat, HTML editor, newsgroup client, and web development tools also. This application surely attracts new generation very much.

It has same source code just like the code used to link Mozilla and Thunderbird, as well as other projects such as Sunbird, Camino, Songbird and Miro. Mozilla Foundation provides legal backing and hosting for the project. You can check following links for further information:
