Hi everyone,
I’m using After Effects CS5 on Mac OS and the trouble seems to be file importing. Last time I tried to do so an error messages pops-out saying
“After Effects error : file ‘Volumes’ cannot be imported – folder contains no files.”
Any idea on what could be causing this?

Hello there! If you are trying to import files such as MOV, AVI, MXF, FLV and F4V, you have to install additional codecs since these files are in container file formats. You can contact the manufacturer of the hardware or software about the codecs that will work with files that your devices create. Or you can simply look in the internet for that. Sometimes, you have to install additional import plug-ins for there are files that requires an installation of these. Remember that the After Effects is depending on the codecs you will install to enable it to import container files. I hope this helps. Good Luck to you!
