Error in adding network location with Windows Vista

Hi Isabella,

Feature in Vista for adding Network location is equivalent to Add Network Places in Windows XP or Windows 7. So therefore it can be simply shortcut link or FTP access to data server or mapped drive or folder somewhere on the network.
In attached image we don’t see the full address that you are typing in. Try checking that again and just for hint if you need to add approach to FTP server it will expect username and password for access.
And if you just want to map some network folder into mapped drive you need to share that folder on the hosting machine.

Hope this was helpful

Best regards
