I was requesting for SSPR process but I am having an error with Forefront Identity Manager 2010. I run Windows XP SP3.  The error says “Authentication Required”.  And then when I tried to register for SSPR reset, I also get an error. How can I continue without having errors? How can I configure FIM correctly?

Error 50001 in Self-Service Password Reset

The reason why you’re getting this error is that when the invoker of the self-service password reset is not an All Active People set member. The reset or registration process will fail if the requester is not a set member. To resolve this, all members of the Password Reset Users should also be members of the All Active People set. You need to do this as the out-of-box management policy rule (MPR): “General workflow: Registration initiation for authentication activity” is set to All Active People set configured as the Resource Current Set and Resource Final Set. Hope this helps resolve your issue. Good luck!
