I am trying to log in to Hero in Diablo III but it keeps throwing an Error 3006. The last time I played, it was working without any issues. But now, I can't even log in. How can I fix this? I've seen some users who are encountering the same issue too but there is no working solutions yet. Please help.

This is a temporary issue on the server from certain regions such as America, Europe and Asia. To fix this:

A. Try to switch to another region  and see if it fix the issue. Battle.net will let you connect to servers outside in regions of your own so you can play with your friends from other country. They called this as Global Play and this is available for Starcraft II and Diablo III.

Regions for Global Play:

America – Players in North, Latin and South America.

Europe – Players in European Union, Eastern Europe, Africa, Middle East and Russia.

Asia – Players in South Korea, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

While players from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia and Philippines is into different regions based on the game:

Diablo III – Americas

StarCraft II – Southeast Asia

You can switch regions from the Game Menu Options or through the Battle.net Desktop Application. You can alter the region through the Battle.net Desktop Application and choose the region from the dropdown menu. When you start the game, you will be logged in to your chosen region.

B. Check if the servers are offline from the server status page.

C. If you are running Windows:

– Check your router. It may be flooded with data and causing a drop from your connection to your ISP. Try resetting the network devices.

– Switch to wired connection if you are using a wireless connection. Then optimize your connection.

If you are running Mac:

– Check your router. It may be flooded with data and causing a drop from your connection to your ISP. Try resetting the network devices.

– Switch to wired connection if you are using a wireless connection.
